It is a big deep blue sea of sentiments
I am born, with beautiful and tender colourful fins
My parents used to fed me up with tasty little worms
My childhood was so joyeous, playing in deep blue waters
in the company of thousands of little friends with different fins
we learnt various acrobatic feats in swimming; up, down, twist, slow, fast
seahorses guarded us from blackholes which are enigmatic
white precious pearls were the balls in our cricket and baseball
aquatic plants were seesaws and credles for our fun
Grand Old tortoises were taking us for a ride on their sloapy backs
Gaint fishes sometimes attacked and ate many of us at a single swallow
we cried for the moment, but continued life escaping from them
Sea was so vast that we travelled all over seeking independence
every wave of water reminded the sentiment of being together
everybody used to say, there is a lot of beautiful world outside the sea
but none dared to go out, as that world lacked love and sentiments for us
i heard of chances given for us, as Beits, to tour outside
no one who went for that voyage returned to tell us their experiences
I got bored of life; sought adventure and new surroundings
everyone warned me not to leave this Ocean of sentiments
but when I saw the chance I made fun of others for their cowardice
I rushed at the beit and before I realise pain in my throat, I am out;
on sand, above beautiful sky; the next moment I suffered to breath
yes, it is true; no love and sentiment here which were my breaths
I reproached, for mistaking commonsense as cowardice
but I am too late; looked at the blue sea ahead for the last time....
