Articles: Poetry | On Retirement Day - Mr. Manas Aditya
| |
Finally the day came
I was completely broken
Carrying my suitcase
I left for the workplace.
Everybody looked at me
Thought that making fun of me
Slowly I walked some distant
I thought I was mistaken.
My legs are not cooperating
Memories are still refresh
when I joined the workplace
How did thirty-six years passed away.
Standing on dias wanted to speak
My voice didn't allowed me
Tears roll from my cheeks
People understood my feelings.
My heart wished them good luck
Tommorrow somebody will be your boss
I slowly bowed down
To express my gratitude to everyone.
