Once Santa was travelling in a plane and the airhostess announced that the plane was flying over the equator. Santa got very excited, picked up his binoculars and started looking for the equator.
After some time, he called the airhostess and asked, 'I want so see the equator....I can’t find it and you just announced that we are passing over it.
The airhostess, embarrassed, replied, 'Sir, the equator is just an imaginary line and you can’t see it.'
Santa’s fury knew no bound. He shouted in rage, 'But you just announced it that we are passing over it. Then, why on earth can’t we see it?' This caused a big furore in the plane. One of the crew members, who happened to pass by, decided to help.
'Santa ji, try looking down again with your binoculars and I will show you the equator.' Santa looked down. The crew member smartly plucked a hair from Santa’s head and placed it in front of the binoculars.
'Santa ji, can you see the equator now?'
'Yes!' replied an excited Santa, 'I can even see some animals roaming over it!'
