Problems faced by working women in foreign land

Many people go onsite through well known companies to foreign contries for a short or longer duration.Nowadays ladies have become very independent and we find ladies a part of them too. Being in software for the past 6 years I have heard of many stories and experiences of ladies facing lots of problems in those foreign countries. Their only intention in staying at these places is to become independent and achieve something in life.Away from their home, parents and family these dynamic girls face more problems than achievement. Mainly we find accomodation as the basic problem. In places like London and U.S. if you are staying for a short duration they dont give apartments on lease for a single person.Unable to do anything, these girls share apartments with other girls who have already taken the house on lease.Then the problems start. Basically adjustment problems. If you are a Telugu girl you don't always find Telugu girls to share the house.language problems cope up. Their culture is different. Their ways are different. There comes diversity in integrity. Sara jahan ghar mein. It is difficult to adjust to them. I know a girl sharing with a Sri Lankan and a Pakisthani .'intiki raagane prapancha raajakeeyalu shuru' And everybody is not good. Uou find the girls getting subjected to harrassment and tormentation. I know a situation where, unable to face harrasment, a girl resigned from an MNC company. There is nobody to take care when they are sick. The roommates are not friendly , taking care, helping 'ala unchandi'. I know a girl who didn't have friends, fell sick when she was in US and nobody was there to take care of her. I know a consequence where a girl was unable to find somebody to share and even came forward to share with pakisthanis.I also know cases where some girls had to live in foreign hostels.who can assure their security.As long as there is world peace ,all is good.What about the times of disturbances.how secure are their lifes? I know girls who have come to roads.Their room mates dont give proper notice when they want them to vacate.They give a very short notice from one day to one week.I know a girl who shifted in just one night.She was out of the house travelling iin the city at night,shifting into a hostel sue to short notice. Also that there are other problems.The INdians whom you find there, inspite of helping these girls ask them for weekends.The girls who went there are the ones who are well educated and are in good position ,in good companies.Facing such experiences is very new to them.It is shameful to say that the INdains/telugu people themselves behave like that with them. So if you find a needy Indian girl in a foreign country do help her.
