Equality or equality based on money?
- Daniel Eagle
  Page: 1 of 1
Do we have equality anywhere in the world? If two man, one poor and other rich, go to à store, do they really have an equal opportunity to buy things? Or does it make difference if you hire an expensive lawer, or you are appointed one because you can’t afford to hire one? And the bottom line, do we have an equality to choose our parents so we could have a happy childhood without being abused, go to private school and have a normal life afterwards? How many millionaires does it take to attract people’s attentions? One! And how many people does it take to attract millionaire’s attention? A lot! Looks like the money is the only parameter that determines how much equality and freedom one actually has. You may say: “work hard and you’ll have your money”. Is that so? Very few millionaires worked hard for their money, most of them inherited them or stole from those who worked hard, or inherited them from those who stole from those who worked hard. Oh, you meant “equal opportunity”? Don’t make me start on that one.
