There are three ways of getting closer to God.
A) By Following Rituals and Festivals .
B) By understanding and following Vedanta.
C) By getting enlightened about the knowledge about the soul.that everybody has.
A) Following Rituals and Festivals and Festivals:
It means the people who do not understand Vedanta and soul practice it. It is simply a layman's way of getting perfection over life. By practicing it, he attains comforts. He believes by reciting hymns one can attain mokska. But without understanding the meaning of those hymns, if he does like that, he often commit mistakes.
B) By Understanding and Following Vedanta:
Vedanta consists of Upanishads. That consist of essence of the content of Vedas with polished content. It talks about the ways of understanding the languge of the soul. India is great because of it. It is India that developed the scientific ways of knowledge of soul. We invented the art of Meditation. Through meditation. One can acquire wonderful control over mind. IN fact, brain is powerful than supercomputer. Every human being has his own master-computer that is brain. That is powerful than all the available computers on the land.
C) By Getting Enlightenment about the Language of Soul:
There are the people who become Mahatmas. The Gifted souls...by birth they show noble thoughts and noble ways. May be at tender stage they committing mistakes. But they are the prime movers of the people. They one see the divinity among all the bodies. Their suffer not for their own, they do not react for anger, sorrow, and happiness.they are unmoves and unmatched.
We have all these ways devised in this Land. But we don't know. We read petty books and petty speeches.and carried away by them. Hence, invite troubles not only for the individual but also to the whole nation. This religon is a vehicle. Our ancestors know it clearly. Upanishads do not talk about religion. That's why Muslims who ever invaded India, merged and mingled into Indian culture and translated them in to Persian. The Muslims are also became part of it. These are the aberrations not the real quarrels. All these will be faded away, if not today, definitely tomorrow. Why because, before 1906 there are not such communal colour to the Indian society. Muslims harassed Hindus. But nothing has changed. They miserably failed to control inter-religions marriages.In fact, they they themselves transformed. The Islam in India is different from the Islam in Arabian nations, Iran, Afghanistan etc. It has truly Indian Islam.
