Education Outsourcing

Education Services Outsourcing When every Indian wants to go to a Western nation for higher studies, what the hell is your Education Services Outsourcing (ESO) concept all about, asked one friend of mine. And some had the pre-conceived notion that ESO concept is a home-tuition concept that is now getting outsourced from the USA, UK etc. to nations like India. But ESO is none of this. It’s a high-end wisdom-based service. The so-called ‘Knowledge Society’ coupled with globalization has made it mandatory to learn, upgrade or update our knowledge so as to sail with the changing times. Outsourcing, insourcing, offshoring and nearshoring, whatever may be the name of the game, a person’s (even an organization’s) constant success is purely dependent on his constant learning. To achieve constant growth, constant change is a sine qua non and that can only be achieved through constant learning. And education is one of the primary ways to achieve this object. While Knowledge-society made education obligatory for survival/success, globalization opened up the hitherto closed education market for global players. KG to PG, Africa to America, Archaeology to Rocket Science; the market is wide open and it is unlimited. If we have the audacity and the skills, a whole new world is open for us.
