Then I approached the chief manager and explained him these problems. Also appealed to him that the cash is not disbursed thr' the counter but slip is printed and a/c is debited.
He assured that the cash will go to surplus and the money will be paid by crediting to my a/c.
The next day, they verified the records and said that there was no surplus posted or no surplus cash was collected in whatever trays of the ATM m/c and no changes are possible for the debit entry in the sb a/c status. Meaning the money is disbursed according to their records and nothing can be done to the customer even if he didn't get the payment at the counter of the m/c.
Presently I applied to all the GEN MANAGERs of SBH and the chief of SBH-Mumbai, where the transactions of the SB a/c are monitored thr' Network.
I am not able to understand the following :
1) Did the computerisation and the fast networks are to help our business or to make us suffer at the hands of the mistakes of these banks?
2) Even if u don't get cash from ATM and report immediately to the concerned officials, ultimately the customers will be made paupers/fools in so many meaningless ways.
3) How irresponsible and sordid are the staff of the Nationalised to most leading banks, when it is the customer's money at stake!
4) Customers have to suffer ever like this without any solution for their problems?
An enquiry by SBH-Hyderabad computer auditor said everything from the records shows the money is disbursed and nothing is wrong.
I stand money loser because of some unknown problem with/in the ATM counter / program bugs/ software.
