This figure is just on a moderate side. There is enormous market potential if the Indian government and the people together are committed to tap this untapped market to the fullest. It wouldn't surprise me if we earn fifty billion dollars on Wedding Services Outsourcing alone.
Individuals or businesses can venture into this field right away without waiting for the government. It’s all about attracting the couples to get married in India and offering them a memorable experience.
Wedding Services Outsourcing industry has the potential to create mass employment. As per my estimations, if the global wedding market is rightly exploited by India, we can create employment to more than 70 lakh people ranging from airlines, domestic transportation, hotel and catering, clothing, video and photography, religious, ethnical and recreational and many more fields.
The couple and the accompanying guests, naturally spend money for shopping ethnical items and sight-seeing. They will most likely also go for Ayurveda, meditation and Yoga services. Thus we are not only making money but also creating mass employment through wisdom services that belong purely to India.
If the couples and their guests are impressed by their experiences in India and if we are successful in making their trip as a memorable experience, they will spread the news back in their countries to many of their friends and relatives without any cost. Their free mouth-advertisement about India results in attracting millions of tourists which in turn helps us in creating further employment and wealth. That’s why I say, Wisdom is Wealth.
Wedding Services Outsourcing (in India) is not an industry that is a low-cost alternative like that of IT or ITeS or BPO industries. It is an industry that is meant to offer unique experience to the guests. We are offering our Wisdom.
It is purely an EXPERIENCE ECONOMY. This is an industry that offers pure Indian-based wisdom services. We are not dependent on foreign companies or contracts. Above all, we are not only spreading our wisdom to other nations but also creating opportunities for our Indian wisdom to flourish.
