Articles: My Thoughts | Theism - Mr. Bhuvanendra Bhupala
| |
It is believed that every individual has the spark of enlightenment on spiritualism at some point of time in a life span, which however cannot be specified for a given person. Once sparked, the pursuit is said to have self-started which goes unabated and has no end limit. Death in present life alone is the end point to such a person. However his search keeps going in the future births too as a result of present efforts and this is doubtless according to ‘Karma Theory’.
Given a choice would you like to be a THEIST or an ATHEIST?
If you are a THEIST it is recommended to develop the art of reasoning and try your best to equip with logical solutions for each reason with reference to each of the traditional practices you already are on to. If this is done you would move strength to strength and reap the benefits in full capacity.
If you are an ATHEIST you may have to work much more hard to prove your belief that someone’s belief is base less.
Brushing aside any concept is easy without touching upon the element of analysis. Ability to prove that a specific concept is incorrect is hard to possess which calls for expertise. For, a critic should also be a scholar in the relevant field to vehemently oppose after careful and critical logical analysis.
If you are a novice, better you start from the disbelievers end. As your research there after on why and how of it goes on, your knees get strengthened and you experience real thrill and at last find yourself unaware amongst the THEISTS. This is based on your theory of elimination. Thus in the History of the world, there have been scores of such men who transmigrated from ATHEISM to THEISM.
Some persons though in their hearts are theists pretend to be otherwise to avoid others questioning them. It reminds me of a joke I would like to share with you.
An author (a self proclaimed atheist) wrote a book and titled it as ‘God- A non-existing concept’. Ironically, that Book was adjudged the best of those times and an award to the author was announced. When the news reached the Author he at once remarked ‘Oh! God, it’s all due to your grace’. This means that all the external efforts of writing a book could not beat the thoughts in his subconscious mind which is nothing but a reflection of his true self.
As you start practicing the customs and also gain sound knowledge of its implications, you are getting stronger and stronger and there by attaining higher level of consciousness which in turn gets added to the credit of culture of the soul (permanent in nature and is said to be the real asset of such soul). This culture of the ‘Atman’ would definitely be carried on to his next birth too. This is called ‘Jeeva Samskara’. In the next birth some more refinement occurs and would continue in each subsequent births until the state of freedom from Birth and Death cycle is achieved (‘Jeevan mukti’).
