Then my mother came to me and said I ll manage the kid you take care of your daughter. I took my daughter and made her to sleep. But after she slept I cried a lot. Some times I asked my self that why did I go for the second child? Whole night I was restless.
Gradually I made my daughter to do all his brother’s work. I said we are elders now. When I am not there you the only one who can takes care of the little one. If you really does’t like this boy I ll hand over to your cousin & she will nicely play with this boy. She will tie the Raakhi also Shall I? I asked. Then she said NO. I ll TAKE CARE. Why should I give to her? I even took her to the school counseling madam. There they did counseling to her.
Now after 5 years she has really became his caretaker. She will make her brother to do his homework. Even during his exams also she made him to get class first. By the time I go home from office both will be ready to play with me with neat dress and no pending home works.
One day she came to me running saying that in her school they asked to give 5 minutes speech on a topic of their own. Then she said about MY DEAREST FRIEND – MY MOM. For which she got a good rating. Thank God. My old friend is back to me.
Many says this is common with the First child. But really it was a nightmare for me.
