Why Gossip?

After hearing this I told 'Auntie, after hearing this, I realize people talk unnecessary things and they do not realize how voluble time spent with relatives is if they enjoy each others company with good sense of humor and a warm atmosphere. But a day will come in their lives when they realize how much time they are wasting in gossip and how much damage it has done to their quality of life. But it might be too late. You just forget about them and take your good friends as your relatives and try to spend quality time with them. Though I am quite younger than you, I advise you to be away from people who give negative vibes. Just ignore them and do not react. That is the best solution. They just feel jealous because you have every thing in life. A good position in society. A respectable job in hand and a lovely husband and children. You are a working lady and has little time to even think about these gossip mongers or rumor mongers who has big mouth. Gossip or rumor are short lived and do not bother much'. Auntie felt a bit relaxed and after that I was happy to see my auntie ever happy and bubbly again with a helping attitude, serving mentality and a very positive and friendly person in our apartments in Delhi. But practically speaking, gossip is dangerous and if it is done with a malicious motive without any back ground, it will have bad effect on everyone around. Once, one of the neighbor's husband died suddenly. Another neighbour's son who is otherwise a brilliant student in academics was telling someone in the school bus 'tujhe pata hai vivek. Suman ki ma ne maar diya uske papa ko'. The effect of this gossip was the 12 year old who was talking like this was beaten up badly by Suman who came to know about this. The mistake is not the boy's. His mother who was having a big mouth was talking like this in the house with her mother-in-law and this small boy picked it up. Actually the guy who died was an alcoholic and he died with heart attack while driving home. So, dear gossipers, please beware, your children are the next generation who will inherit these traits from you along with your property. When you comment on any person please see how valid your statements are and how authentic and what effect they will have on the targeted person or on the listeners too. Your image also will go down and you will have no face once the truth comes out. Truth always prevails. But takes time. So friends, do not bother about others remarks even if they hurt you for a moment. By ignoring them you lose nothing but you gain a lot in terms of positive attitude towards life and a better living in all respects. Ultimately it is just like a ball which if kicked hard will go and hit the wall or come back and hit the player's head too at times and the person who does gossip will get tired and reap the fruits one day in one way or other and repent if he is fortunate enough before his last moments at least. This world is full of hypocrites. Some people try to enact a big drama on the stage of life. But Drama is drama. It is not real life. It has its own dramatic end too. If we lead a life with virtues, values, pure heart and soul searching all the time, victory is ours. We can achieve unlimited bliss and enlighten ourselves with spiritual energies which will help us enhance our quality of life. Then we can bring sunshine into others lives too. Then the darkness will disappear slowly. I hope you agree with me.
