Anti-conversion legislation has been made in Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Tamilnadu to curb the enthusiasm of missionaries of non-Hindu religions indulging in rice bowl conversions. Now the T.T.D.advanced further with innovative scheme called 'Dalita Govindam' to keep the dalits in Hindu fold. It would be excellent if this scheme is extended to Indian Muslims also as their fore fathers also are Hindus. Hindu society is gradually managing its contradictions; they are now prepared to destroy caste system just to make all Hindus socially equal. Let us welcome this 'Dalita Govindam'.
It would be excellent if this Dalit Govindam is extended at least to Indian Dalit Muslims as their forefathers are Hindus...Shaik Srinivsarao, Ibrahim Raju, Maqbool Naidu, Ahmed Reddy, Abdul Rahman Purshottam, Abdul ghanikhan Choudary, Suleman madiga etc., are really thinking of Dalit Govindam .Now we should not take Hinduism as a religion but as a nationality. The main point here is Hindu religious heads are now prepared to destroy caste system just to make all Hindus socially equal. We Indian Muslims or Christians know better that our fore fathers not came from Arabia. They don’t have any connections with Pakistan. They embraced Islam just for keeping their
self-respect and social equality vexed with caste discrimination.
If theTTD paves way for recon version into Hinduism it is a welcome thing, as it will definitely benefit the Indian society. You may ask how? Let us think for a while why Hindus are being easily converted into Muslims or Christians? Is it for money or for social upliftment or for getting both? Spiritual satisfaction based on doctrines and faiths may also influence them. But there is a benefit either physical or spiritual. Dalits are prohibited entering temples, becoming poojaris, learning Vedas all these days where as Muslims and Christians embraced them into their fold treating them as brothers and made them pastors and mullas. Hindu leaders recognized this at least now and trying for rectification of their fault.
All of us must welcome this revolutionary movement. Let us wait and see how best they can refine Hinduism and provide equal opportunities and social respect to the suppressed castes in future. I will happily accept Hinduism if I am made a Brahmin, Reddy, Raju, Kamma etc.as I don’t know from which caste my fore fathers were converted into Islam. Otherwise there is only one solution left to Hindus: Annihilation of caste and four varnas. God is one called by many names. He is unknown and invisible but his creatures our fellow brothers are known and visible as equal as ourselves. Caste, color discrimination is manmade and a cruel sin. Propitiation for that sin is being done through Dalita Govindam.
Fundamentalists are prevailing over our human values and dividing us into various castes for no fault of us. A newborn baby doesn’t know cast but gradually it is known to it. What a bitter feeling! If somebody did a wrong thing is it justifiable to punish his heirs after a gap many generations? Is it not reminding us the story of a lamb and wolf?
