6. Let us take the case of Media. Enaadu has only promoted regionalism and hatred among different groups of people. As a major news paper in the state, it has immense responsibility to maintain balance and promote harmony among people. But it has worked against this. Though the opinions of the articles are considered to be authors’, its promoter has overall responsibility for that. So, Mr. Ramoji Rao has morally failed in his duty as a media promoter. He helped only rising emotions and hatred among the people.
7. Accepting TRS as political party and giving all support like land for party, symbol allotment etc are first wrong happened. TRS was incorporated with intension of separatism. Can we accept a political party with such an objective? Can we accept Huriyatt, JKLF as political parties and allot land, political symbol etc.? What way TRS is different from them? Though it is accepting Indian constitution, it is not accepting its own State constitution. Do we accept Maoists who are also not accepting State?
8. Many of the politicians from Telangana are behaving arrogant new-a-days. Similar trend started in Costal regions politicians now. In a recent meeting, costal politicians wanted a separate state for their 9 districts. And they commented that Rayalaseema can not go which ever way they want. Does it mean, it is unwanted and discarded region? Let us accept, even today both ruling and opposition leaders are from Rayalaseema. There is no worthwhile candidate from either Telangana or Costal regions. Politicians from the state are becoming a laughing stock in the country. I hope they realize and behave and conduct themselves properly.
9. Having discussed a few issues, let us look at possible solutions. Politicians should have qualification like a professional for any positions. No politician should be allowed to contest from the same location more than twice in his/her career. He should contest from different parts of his state and win the election. Similarly, one must get elected from more than one state to take up any National level position. Let every region get benefit of good and dynamic politicians. Person must have done proven field work before taking over any position.
10. Regional feelings are becoming more due to long living in the same place. Let us encourage movement of people. Let us encourage people studying, setting industries, taking up jobs out side their local region. This leads strong bond among all regions. Suppose lot of Telangana people go to other parts of the state for studies, jobs, industries and settle down there and vice versa. Then everyone has interest in overall state. Most of the industries are located in Hyderabad. Naturally, other region people come and work here. That should not be treated as outsiders taking away jobs from Telangana people. If the industries set up in Vijayawada or Tirupathi, Telangana people would have gone there and worked. Then if they are treated as outsiders, how do they feel.
