The driver also announced that the pouch behind your opposite seat also contain Devotee Niyamaavali and TTD Promises to a Devotee along with a sick bag to use for vomiting.
As the bus started the music system delivered the Sthala purana of Tirumala Hills and the abode of Lord Balaji in a voice that is so sweet and devotional.
Sreenu’s family kept their chappal in the bags and dropped them in the box as they got down from the bus.
They were welcomed by an entrance that has got Luke-warm water flowing at the entrance of the gate to start the climbing. As they walked on the water washed their feet and a small leaflet was found with a board (you can take one from these bundles). One set is a leaflet talking about the significance of Seven Hills and the other one is how a devotee can help protect the sanctity and purity of the Seven Hills by using the facilities provided enroute. It pleads the devotees not to starve and become weak.
As they started climbing the hills they find at regular distances toilets, at good locales eating-places with provision for resting. Each hill is distinctly identified with nameplates. The rates of the eatables are priced on not-for-profit basis, hence very very reasonable. The eatables are served with a smile and excellent hospitality in a disposable paper plates, cups etc.
It was a pleasant climbing all through with an enchanting music, devotional songs and discourses. Excellent Rain shelters are also built at regular distances for the Devotees.
