They reached their cottage took rest and had prasadam. In the cottages there was a music system that announces significant events taking place on the hills at various venues. Ananth’s wife wished to go to “Pravachana Sthali” where a discourse on Venkatachala vaibhavam is being conducted.
TTD has made it a practice to invite those who are willing to speak on Venkatachal Vaibhavam, bhagavatam, Raamayanam, Mahabharatam or any Vedic literature and schedule it in the “Pravachana Sthali”. Similarly artists of dance, music, etc are also encouraged to submit their proposals and they are given free to and fro travel fare and all other facilities on the hills. This scheme has encouraged many artists in the country both seasoned and amateur categories and make an attempt to present their skills on the Hills in the presence of the Lord.
The pravachna went upto 9.00 pm and thereafter Ananth and his wife had their dinner in “Amritam” outlet. The hospitality of this outlet is unmatchable and for the price and the quality of the food.
Next day morning Ananth went to the counter “Punardarshanam” where the devotees can avail 2nd Darshan of the Lord based on the rush. A few number of people can avail this based on availability of seats. The status is displayed live 24X7. Based on this display Ananth could not get the chance to have Darshan for the 2nd time on 1st June before 2.00 pm. So he decided to watch a dance show and a music concert uptill lunch time.
He climbed down the Hills at 2.00 pm and went to Kalahasti and returned to Tirupati and had packed some good food from a good hotel – in order to match the quality of “Amritam” outlets the Private Hotels in Tirupati compete with each other and offer best services to Devotees.
Ananth and his wife boarded the train at 7.00 pm and exclaimed “what a great experience! I did not even dream of having such a place called Tirumala. Blessed are we the Telugus to have the Lord in our state, blessed are we for the wisdom of the people managing the TTD” Strangely they also heard many people in the bogie praising the way the TTD manages the Tirumala Hills. This turned into exchange of pleasant experiences and a creation of very healthy atmosphere. One student said: TTD’s way of managing is influencing many governments, organizations and institutions world over. I am really proud of it.
Yes TTD has become a model to emulate world over. Virtually TTD rules the world!!!
