Posted by: Mr. Subhash S At: 12, Aug 2003 6:59:25 PM IST Thats why I asked people like Mahi to give a scenario where we can deal without corruption.
Posted by: Durga Prasad At: 12, Aug 2003 5:33:39 PM IST why not?? it is possible. provided you are bold and brave to fight. i got my driving license 'in hyd' with out bribing anyone.
My dad faced a similar situation as mentioned below. he was in need for a certificate from MRO. he went and got it with out bribing anyone. he had an argument for an hour and got it finally.
manam procedures prakaram follow avakundaa bribe chesi manaki kavalsinattu , kavalsinappudu panulu cheyyinchukuntamu.
corruption lo ichevadu = teesukuneyvadu.
both are equally responsible.

Posted by: Mr. MAHESWARA MAHI At: 12, Aug 2003 5:33:15 PM IST Do u think that it is practically possible? S'pose u r outside India and ur wife here in India, gave birth to a baby and u want to get them to ur place ASAP. Your kid needs birth certificate from ur local municipal office based on the report from the hospital where ur wife delivered a kid(if delivered in house, its more trouble). And ur dad or some one here applied, the clerk already took 15 days of time, and still says that "pedda saaru voorla ledu" etc. Finally ur dad understood that he wants his "stipulated" Rs 150/-. Ur dad gave him that amount, he gave the certificate on next day. Would u wait till he gives this certificate by not giving just 150 or give it and get ur work done without any problems? Please explain, Mr Mahi! I invited people to quote a scenario and the way to deal with it without corruption, in one of my earlier postings. Why don't u start, Mahi?
