*Correction! The last sentence should read I just don't think it can be all give or all take.

Shalini, what if a person doesn't feel the one desire that you said is common *a tremendous need to please the person no matter if dat is possible outta denyin your ownself * and this hurts but happiness stays..what does that make him or her? I just feel it isn't possible to carry on pleasing another at the expanse of denying oneself for a lengthy period. In the long run, there is bound to be some degree of bitterness and hurt with all the sacrifice. Aren't relationships about give and take? I just don't think it can't be all give nor all take.

can true (let's say, genuine feelings from both the parties) love be ever forgotten? hm..is it possible to fall in and out of love over n over ? or is it some rebound action going on?

I wish it was that easy, Shalini.

Bhaskar, I wish I could understand what you have written! Could you please say that in English?

Yeah, true. I think the whole idea has to do with falling in love. Do you agree that it is like one pop group defined some time back "only a moment". I think everyone invariably falls out of love sooner or later. This is not to say they stop loving the person though. It's when the honeymoon period ends and you see the person for whom he or she truly is. Unfortunately, this collides with the image you have of them in your heart. The question that arises is can I accept this person now as he or she is? Or if the coin is turned and he or she has the same sort of issues about you. Believe me, it is a real conflict.

Another re-open - sorry about being a copy-cat! So, do you really have to feel some pain to feel true love? Why can't it all be sweet and rosy?

There are things in life that are inevitable and we are powerless to control them. The Sun will rise and set, the tide will come in and go out, the seasons will change, the birds will fly South for the winter and return in the spring, and the caterpiller will transform itself into a beautiful butterfly. Somehow, I feel reassured by this because many other things in life are so transient - so momentary unlike Luv. To be luved and to be in luv is the best thing to experience. And people in luv are always READY TO WALK ON AN EGG SHELL!!! though "The end is never as fun as the beginning" -:))!!!
