| hi, i was just kidding, hyderabd airport is not even a international airport. But have a controversory surrouding it. Even in names there are politics attached and a name cannot be given acceptable to all. Leaders to suppose to lead, but not fight on trivial issues like kids. So dont take that seriously.

HI, SDB,It is better to be vague, u can relate then to any Gandhi u wish. Just add the leader's name as a prefix to that. Then opposition also will not mind.

It is better to make it as just Gandhi Airport, else say Mahatma Gandhi Airport. There will be no controversy. Hyderabad airport also as two names, NTR airport gains comes into prominence when TDP is in power, some say the same as Rajiv Gandhi Airport, when congress is in power. The public is confused.

Identify the people in a order and the valued projects to be named. This is nothing but priority for whom for which project.
If I am not mistaken there was no name for NS dam. Left canal was named after Lalbahdur Sastry and the right for Pt. jawahrar.
If you look into the present situation Vijaywada the whole bus station named after Pt. Jawaharlal. What does it mean? Their services are everlasting hence no one can be named other than Nehru & Gandhi.
There by you are loosing chance to remeber other name and fame.
PV is one example to show how the center behave in view of AP or southern states. They have to find the oppertunities to rember his services for Indian Society.

They have to be honoured in the state by ourselves without any argument. Incase of PV why the National Leaders are mum irrespective of their parties including BJP, Samajawadi, etc. AP and the leaders need to be recognized in the central without any prejudice. The reason for my comment AP house was attacked by VHP leaders in New Delhi when Togadia was arrested in AP. They asked CBN to apolozize.
Our pride can be restored by unity not by silly politics.
