In any natural event, there are two elements. 'input' and 'output' (output) = (input) - (losses) If 'losses' are more, better do not provide input. dharma satraalakE kaalaM teeripOyiMdi - imkaa adharma satraalu kooDaanaa?

They should give statistics and c how the other southern states are following and meeting the expenses of road transport. There should be geniune desire for both govt. and unions to resolve the issue amicably. They have to take the discomfort and chaos that will create for travellers, if again a strike was to take place.

I do not agree with the argument that people are the losers if RTC either disintegrates or gets dissolved. Common men are really fed up with the disservice of RTC. Either it has to mend its ways or face extinction. There are people to handle the matter in a more efficient way. The people may lose for some more time. They may be helpless today. In the longer run, it will be the RTC staff and the 'illfare government' which are going to be the real losers. Let there be some more light. Then, I shall come forward with my own observations in detail.

What are the demands and what has been the government response? I think the talks have again broken down. One good way to attract general public to travel by RTC is give a free ride from residence to Main Bus Stand by local bus if there is a valid ticket with the passenger in all places and also after alighting at their destination from the busstand further to their place. This will make them compete with private buses.

Thanks to the RTC strike, the rush in the temple town has come down considerably, so the piligrims will have better and fast darshan. The darshan tickets are available. The revenue loss for RTC per day is in crores, as i understand. Nobody seems to bothered of the loss.

With the bus traffic coming to grinding halt, the accidents will be avoided to some extent and save some precious life's, i guess.

The winner is the RTC ,and the govt ,with regard to monetary issues ,but ,the govt will have a tough time answering questions ,regarding the plying of buses . Plying private buses is very difficult at the moment because ,the tax collected for a permit is to the tune of rs90,000 per quarter which is the highest in INdia . Private players will not be enthuiastic to ply buses as such ,and I guess AP roads will be free for some days ,without public transport
