| When I feel everything is originated from God why should I do not love any body.
But true love is not attachment or possessiveness. If so it is not love it is passion. It may be towards children or husband. And dont mistake your duty towards your near ones is passion.
It should be merely duty and love but not passion.

Good question.
But before coming into conclusions,Are all sufferings the same? What you think is "suffering" may not be a "suffering"
to the other one. What you think is "good" for you may not be a "good" for some one else.
So it is your degree of attachment to the things cause sufferings. It may be your body, your nearest ones or your wealth.
God never said to you to be attached to this world and get sufferings. As long as you are attached you have to face sufferings.Because happiness and misery are the two sides of a coin.

may be I will spare more time next time and dispel your confusion.
.
There is nothing confusing or that could go wrong in those 4 translations..no difficult words.
why just 4?
I could give a whole bunch of such suutraas from Manu.
Posted by: Mr. Siri Siri At: 3, Mar 2006 5:35:23 PM IST RRji,
your confusion is still surprising me ..you being not able to relate the links in the discussion together and acting as if seeing some strange stuff, even after giving re-explaination about PETA and AMITAB.
so forget it and everything we discussed today and be happy with whatever impressions you have about these saastraas.
That clears every confusion of yours.
All othera..
c u later!
have fun with Manu.

Of course I don't hate them either as long as they don't intefere with me in my belief. They are at liberty to practice their religion but have no right to force others to convert into their religion. This is my ipinion.

I don't believe in Christianity or Islam or buddhism or jainism e.t.c.,. I believe in Hinduism and that too in supremacy of Lord VishNu. He is independent and everything else is dependent on Him.
You should understand that the triguNas are there and people of saatvik nature only get liberation after saadhana. liberation is not meant for everybody. you can deduce this from gIta which you are fond of. If you know telugu I will respond in telugu in future.
Posted by: Mr. HAYAGREEVA MURTY Rachuri At: 3, Mar 2006 4:10:55 PM IST See all of u some other day.
meanwhile Manu says:
--One should give, according to one's ability, wealth to Brahmanas learned in the Veda and living alone; (thus) one obtains after death heavenly bliss.
--But a king shall bestow, as is proper, jewels of all sorts, and presents for the sake of sacrifices on Brahmanas learned in the Vedas.
-- he may take (it by force or fraud) from one who always takes and never gives, and who refuses to give it; thus the fame (of the taker) will spread and his merit increase.
The last one prscribes Naxalism!haahhaa.
and all of u meanwhile gve somthing to learned Brhmins!
take care and have fun!
Posted by: Mr. Siri Siri At: 3, Mar 2006 4:03:06 PM IST BTW, if one is to follow the things presribed in manusmruti etc now,he just cant live in our society.so strict and elaborate are the rules of conduct for barhmins and kshatriya etc in those days, never mind nobody ever followed them!
