| Hi all, vizag is the best place to enjoy life. infact i born and brought up great vskp , had enless fun..! i'm missing my vskp alot..! particularly beach road(YMCA/RKBEACH/YARADA BEACH/sagara durga/rushikonda / bhimili beach rd/kilasagiri..ooopss lovely places..etc..many..i'm sure no where in india we find such no.of diff locations of beaches, not only beaches..many places..AVNcollege..!
though i came all the way to bangalore for prfessional development/work, i'm not enjoying life except prefiessinally since i was habituated for freaking out to different places ..here no other place except MG/BRIGADE Rd. i'm proud to say that..vizag is uncomparable to anyother places in india. the only drawback in vizag is lack of professional development..!otherwise its lovely place to enjoy the life..!since lack of powerful political leader to develop the city in all aspects.
its far better than chennai in all aspects (culture/climate/people etc..)
recently Mr. naidu is concentrating on vskp to develop ..lets hope it'll develop in all aspects in future days.
missing alot vizag..!

I do agree that we couldn't market about Vizag. The reasons are
1. Lack of support from political leadership of Andhra Pradesh.
2.Excessive regionalism rather Districtism in our State.
3.No powerful local leaders, enterpreneurs, and businessmen has emerged from this part.
4.Centre is least bothered and within the state the emphasis is only on Delta districts and Hyderabad.
5. Local leaders are either from other parts of the state and who are least bothered about Vizag or even if they are from the same district they are more bothred about their pockets.
6.No leader has emerged till now who is above all these. Somehow Chandrababu Naidu seems to have a vision.
There is a tremendous potential in Vizag to develop as one of the leading place in India as well of the world.

Trudge carefully (if you have ever heard of them) through the slums of dandu bazar towards poorna market...then behind the municipal stadium...that is what is the real vizag.........not the beach road or siripuram junction. we need to tidy up those things first. That is when we can be proud of the city. we need to plan for a mass public transport NOW for vizag. Or else it will be like another stupid Bangalore/Delhi insofar as public transport is concerned.

Vizag is really the heaven on the earth I have travelled thr many countries and visted so amny palces still I always want to go and settle in Vizag that near beach road

Folks,
To say the least, most of the induatries in Vizag are in the RED! MASE(CE?) was closed. Steel(Pride) is in deep shit. We vizagites are the most complacent lot. look at kochi...it was nothing compared to vizag some time baqck. now it is one of the best places on west coast and is far ahead of vizag. where vizag is struggling to get night landing facility, kochi is now on the international arena.
we telugus can't market ourselves.

i do agree that vizag is fantastic.
the medical college has stunning views of the beach and sea.
i love this place to bits.
it is the place to live, i feel.
if i am given a large sum of money and asked where i would live, i will jump and say beach road in vizag.
the daspalla hotel serves menu that even the best restaurants in the world do not offer, yes really i mean it.
then the chitralaya, the cinema experience there is good.
u can go on and on,kailasa hills, bhimili beach etc ,etc,

Hi This is P V R Reddy( Pallikila Venkata Ramana Reddy) a native of Vizag but spent of most of the time out of Vizag. At present I am staying in Dubai. I have been travelled extensively through out India and World but I love Vizag. I have seen Vizag transforming from a sleepy town to Industrial Capital of Andhra Pradesh. I like people and culture in Vizag very much.
Gove. should give more importence in developing the city and Industries in Vizag.
I love to get in touch with like minded people from Vizag.

hi mallikarjun, i think u did froget some thing man, it is the culture of the people, for example if u take the pooran market it is in the transistion zone of the city form the old to the new...so i think we vizagites are moving ahead with ur roots firmly in the past...thats is the secret of the successful organically developed city...and u did mention about the weather right..to the best oif my knowledge it is the best in Ap and u are only talking about the sweat ....thats alright...its a part of life here...no one complais...it is better to sweat then to dehydrate with out a trace and ur skin peeled off due to lack of moisture like in hyd or vijayawada.....any way life is vizag is lot better then many other cities.....one have to blessed to be born in a city like this...like vinay have already mentioned the beauty of the place.....good work vinay..
