frankly, nenu mee anta range lo alochinchaledu :-).
I believe what I said ('allow them..." equivalent to INDEPENDENCE) has nothing to do with what you pointed out. if girls really decide to do (what ever it is, it could be as obscene as what you said) getting it done is their right. well,if they have the ability they will anyway get. :-).
and I believe taht people are wise enough to take proper decisions.

whether people like it or not, in the few years to come this 'change of names for girls' will not be there. okay! lets do a thing, you dont change your surname, me && all my frnds anyway dont have any idea of changing, we will atleast seed this idea :-).

Because its a matter concerned to girls (their names & their identification), no one else, even the Manu, has a say in it. eppudo evado edo chepte it doesn't apply now. Right??? Allow the girls to do what they want.
Anyway, as many girls have mentally made up their minds (within my sample atleast) not to change their names, thats going to be the final; irrespective of what Manu thinks or what others think :-).

Nice comments from Ravi vedula garu,Dyvadheenam garu. Mee comments most appropriate. I am not against some kind of identity to family, social/culture.The article is written against divisive Identity which comes as addson after the name and addition of father/husband's name.
