General Forum: Religion | satsangham means union with the reality- its relevance in these days | |
| Apart from speaches , bhajans etc..
satsangh is a an act of meditation on divine too!
Posted by: Mr. jogarao pilla At: 2, Nov 2003 9:50:28 AM IST there are pros and cons in the satsanga.the real meaning of this is not understood properly.when we meet a guru or higher conscious person ,we will first tell about our materialistic problems because of identifying ourselves with body.this sholu be eliminated.then we will be near sat'.guru initiates.the rest be done by the individual.
Posted by: Dr. kuchibhotla subrahmanyam subrahmanyam At: 2, Nov 2003 9:15:02 AM IST In the present day life when the technology has been developed to such an extent it is possible now to bring structural changes in individuals provided as mentioned here one is subjected to a jolt in life making him realise how weak and timid he/she is due to the absence of spiritual grooming. But no need to worry because there were so many efforts all around to bring this harsh fact of necessity of spiritual orientation to everyone and the day is not far off when people develop that craving for spiritual strength which is being made available to everyone who is inclined for it.
Posted by: Mr. jogarao pilla At: 2, Nov 2003 8:48:12 AM IST The irony of the fact is many of us donot have any idea that we are born to lead our life towards the Divine which alone bring permanency to our existence through constant efforts in that direction, so as to live in Him and with Him forever.

Posted by: Mr dyvadhinam yaddanapudi At: 1, Nov 2003 7:49:38 AM IST when said select few one may feel disappointed but there is no need for that. The very fact that we tookup humanlife itself is the first qualification and developing restless craving towards that permanent existence is the second quality required to be cultivated to become deserving for that realisation.
Posted by: Mr. jogarao pilla At: 30, Oct 2003 4:06:53 PM IST If somehow we develop intense devotion and love towards God to the extent that we lose our individual identity and identify ourselves with the all pervasive nature of Divine by intrnal expansion as a result of which we develop simplicity, subtility and sensitivity- that leads us to mergense with the ultimate reality and beyond. This state of existence is possible only to select individuals but everyone can put honest effort to achieve this state.
