None is forcing me to belive . I got your point . But can you just "define" god ? Why dont you just answer the topic itself : who /what is God ? Just to know for an atheist like me. will you please ??

hey you people dont understand the system of nature ? are you still in those primitive days when people used to pray to rain , sun etc and wished them for well being? well those people dint know the phenomenon. Are you the same old people ??
God is a name given to an 'arbitarary constant' like in maths. Well we had the same disc about the existence of god many times before. I argued a lot but people who support infavour dint come up with any concrete evidence of existance . If anyone comes up with those and not any theoretical assumptions, i am ready to face .

God is beyond comprehension even to the most learned. We can only realise him with bhakti. He is not partial. He is full of all good qualities(GuNas) and is not having any bad qualities(dOsha). He is the creator. sustainer, destoyer,controller,giver of knowledge, giver of ignorance, responsible for the bonding and giver of salvation.
There is a purpose in the imperfections and bad things created by Him.
If one wants to experience happiness(sukham) one should have experienced sadness also or vise versa.

Everything in this world as well as elsewhere is from God and the irony of the situation is everyone ignores HIS presence and searches for HIM everywhere elase except within ownself.

Though all powerful, God is a silent witness to our thoughts and deeds, He patiently waits for us to realise Him.But we owe our existence to Him and He alone can lead us towards our final destination which is beyond realisation.

I am glad that you appreciated my point of view. Often times discussions like these tend to become arguements where the very purpose of collectively finding out the truth gets lost. To be able to understand others' view point we need to shed our ego and "listen" what others are saying which I am glad you did.
I see your point about the contradiction of totality starting at a finite point. There are certain things that defy logic which I think are beyond our comprehension. If you agree for discussion's sake that God is existing, you have to agree that he is someone who can never be at fault ( He can;t be God if he is). So you would not subject him to your jurisprudence. May be you are not getting the total picture. Your effort should be to better yourself to be able to understand it.
Before Einstein would anyone have even remotely thought in terms of relativity? It is lateral thinking at the highest level, right? If God is there he is certainly more intelligent so there is certainly another dimension which we are missing in the picture.
There is this story that I heard a long time ago about what we imagine and what is true. There is this guy who was crying inconsolably. Someone asked him why he was crying. Says he, " I have just come to know that my wife became a widow. I love her so much , I can't imagine her to be living her entire life as a widow". The point here is that his pain is real ( it is for him although it looks foolish for people who know) but it is not true, meaning he wouldn't be in that state of pain if only he has enough knowledge. May be most of our misery likewise is something that we are imagining. Our effort should be to find the truth. From what people who know it all say truth will liberate you from all hallucinations.

God is a all powerful, all pervading entity responsible for the entire creation.He is the Generator,Organiser and Destroyer of this entire creation and nothing in this creation is possible without His interference.
