| //Macauley had written to his father that he is implementing such an education system that it will produce "Clerks" for British Empire forever.Thats what exactly it has happend and happening.
//
Oh yeah..People like Narayana Murthy,Azim Premji,etc..are "clerks" to British empire ..good..if it was "Gurukul"..India might have been an isolated Island ..cut out off the world.

Ayurveda is the oldest medical practice. Its not as new as homoeopathy. Charaka has written a book on practice of medicine by name "Charaka Samhita". Susruta was the first person to do the plastic surgery way back in 600 BC (I am not too sure about this date). All these greatmen's works were based on religion. Charaka did praise Lord Dhanvantari in his book.

Then why it is replaced by Homeopathy or Allopathic?

Never ever get into angered exchanges. It doesn't yield anything. If you do not wish to talk, please do so.

It is the result of this kind of language..

"If you think that by shuting mouths would have made this world to progress and if you think that thats what the science had taught you...Mr. Crocodiles...well you shut up and I shut up and lets both of us shut ourselves up in our own, narrow cocoons and make this world rust.

NTvODu,

God - they mean the idol in a Temple, before what people offer coconuts to fulfill their long-list of desires - they should try to think beyond that! So, naturally you can't convince them with your arguement.
/////////
Its ur limitations to idols ..not ours..we r thinking beyond that..i.e. evolution theory..U guys r still stuck in idols,thinking it as incarnation of GOD..
And for ur kind info..Idols were not there till Gautam Buddha's incarnation..
Idols were never used in the beginning - only words. When Emperor Asoka became a Buddhist, the entire population of Indian subcontinent embraced Buddhism during the third century BC. That was when temples filled with images of Buddha began appearing everywhere. After Asoka's death, the population embraced Hinduism again to escape the lofty philosophy of Buddhism, devoid of God. That was when Hindu temples with myriad of idols began appearing everywhere. Each idol represented only one of many attributes of Almighty God.

I congratulate you for your devotion and dedication towards Sandhya vandanam and reaping the benefits there on,but don't you think that this age old practise is slowly disappearing even among so called Brahmin community and thus making mockery of the whole process?
You must also be Knowing that but for the sake of Marriage ceremony majority of our youth donot know even the significance of Upanayanam?
When this is the case of our generation how can you motivate people to follow the rituals as recommended by our elders?
Posted by: Mr. jogarao pilla At: 29, Sep 2003 2:13:36 PM IST All these rituals including the events you have mentioned no doubt bring a sigh of relief for a while or as long as they are in that atmosphere but don't you think that majority of people attending these preachings and teachings do not get permanennt transformation (with some exceptions only)and in that case they are of not much use?
Posted by: Mr. jogarao pilla At: 29, Sep 2003 1:54:51 PM IST there is no use in participating religious rituals if you have no belief!And now a days people are losing interest in religious practises due to the extreme elements and fanatics creating unrest among innocent masses/weaker sections of society and harassing them and exploiting them in the name of religion?Anyone who do not agree with me can give their point of view with explanation .

We are seeing diabetic patients. My question is why the insulin production has stopped in those patients and why not in others? As far as my knowledge goes doctors can say that due to some or other reason it has stopped? But my question remains at WHY IT STOPPED????????
//////
Mr.Raghu
First of all u tell who gave the name "DIABETICS" to that disease?And who told u that the diabetics happens when INSULIN production stops?
Some hundreds of yrs back ,nobody knows about the reason of death because Science was not there .
DID YOUR GOD CAME DOWN AND TOLD U THAT THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED PANCREAS WHICH PRODUCES INSULIN..AND IF STOPS ..THE DISEASE CALLED DIABETICS WILL COME?
NO ....ITS SCIENCE WHICH INVENTED THAT AND FOUND THE CURE ALSO...THE INSULIN INJECTION OR SHOTS..WHATEVER..
WHERE WAS UR RELIGION ALL THESE DAYS TILL SCIENCE FOUND THAT?SLEEPING?..
U GUYS R SICK..U BELIEVE SOME OF THE INVENTIONS OF SCIENCE ACCORDING TO UR REQUIREMENT..LIKE INTERNET,OTHER COMMUNICATION DEVICES,WHATEVER U USE AT HOME (GIFT OF SCIENCE)..THE LIST GOES ON..BUT U FLAW EVOLUTION THEORY...WHY?
/////
But Vijaya gaaru our religion can easily answer this question. Let anybody having great interest in science than religion answer my question.
//////
NOW U TELL ME HOW UR RELIGION CAN EASILY EXPLAIN THIS ANSWER!!
PS:I will keep u posted reg how insulin stops..after doing some homework.
