| MF Hussain justified his Saraswati drawing saying it was meant for Masses and Khujraho temple promotes nudity :)) Your justification reminds me of the same

Posted by: Mr. ■Gumpulo Go!Vindam √ At: 5, Dec 2006 10:55:04 PM IST I would be glad to see some literature where in Ram would call Lakshman a Howla and Sita would say "zara site kottukonivvu" .. be it from any part of Telangana
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:53:15 PM IST If Howla is not an obscene word just because you usay so .. I would say even the F words are not obscene because I used it ... Big Deal?
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:50:31 PM IST Can you show me any literature wherein anybody in Telangana used these kinds of words with reference to Gods?
They might use the words in folklore but never in the case of Gods.
And nobody uses your lingo with respect to Gods espcially Sriram
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:48:56 PM IST "cheli naa choopulu naa maata vinatledu" gets translated to "gaa blue color zara hatke undaadu .. manam mastunnam .. soodanivvu" .. hmmmmm :))
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:41:32 PM IST Well, so going by your logic, if you need to explain Ramayan to a guy living in NY Downtown, you need to use all the "F words" and "B words" on Ram and Sita ... Great :))
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:37:40 PM IST I do know about Telangana Swetaji, my Surname represents a village near Choutuppal and I have seen many places in Telangana ...
I have seen many plays pertaining to Ramanayan in Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Nalgonda districts and NONE OF THOSE CONTAINED SCENES LIKE "LITE KOTTUKOVATAM" CALLING ECHOTHER "HOWLA" OR DIALOGS LIKE "MANAM VEEROINDLA LEKKUNNAM. SOOSKONIVVU"
'pori' is a common word .. but "beat kottukovatam" is seldon used int he context of Gods and Goddesses
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 10:30:37 PM IST Well,
I never heard any villager saying
"Ramudu sita ki lite kottindu"
"ganna naaku porilendukey, sharamaitundi" -- "neeku kaadu nenu lite kottukodaanikehe"
"nuvvu tella voni ki beat kottuko nenu paccha voni ki beat kottukunta"
"gaa blue color zara hatke unnadu .. choodanivvu"
"akka chellendlu donga choopulu"

Ramananad Sagar's is jsut a serial and even if you consider that to be authentic ...
after having a look at Sita accidentally, Ram says something like "Hey Lakshman, none in our dynasty would even look at another woman. Why did I commit this sin?"
Then Lakshman says something like "May be she is gonna be your woman"
Cant this convo be understood by the villagers? Scratch Scratch
Posted by: Malakpet Rowdy At: 5, Dec 2006 9:54:44 PM IST For most of the Hindus, Rama & Sita are like parents --
Itz great fun for me to know how our Dad was line marofying our Mom at the market place
Am I also part of the group whoz enjoying the whole thing? Am I now justified in finding fault with MF Hussein?
I apologize to you all, if you find me narrow minded & idiotic to spoil the 'fun', but itz just one of those moments wherein my fingers just wouldnt stop speaking my mind!
