Sagar garu,
Guess you haven't seen much of life in India. I got many of my freinds, colleagues, classmates, batchmates, relatives etc and observed them, got information from them and saying that majority, I repeat, majority of Professionally qualified women(who got into courses through reservations, obviously) are jobless. I've observed from few engg colleages in and around my native. They are jobless not because of non-availability of jobs. Its because they are not intetested. I asked my own cousin to take up a job(she's BTech ECE from Bapatla Engg college, 4th ranker in college, got into that college by utilizing reservation) and you know what she answered? She said, "maa aayana sampaadistunnaadugaa ento konta, mallee nenendukuraa kashtapadatam cheppu?". This is only one I'm mentioning. But there are several such stories. You have seen only those women who are really enthusiastic, dynamic, from Cities. But not from towns! Correct me if I am in a wrong track. But I've seen several women from various places! So is the reason why I'm strongly arguing in this case. I am not against for women's education. But they shouldn't waste the professional seats. Anyways, now a days there were plenty of colleges in each town. There are 1000s of seats which are not being filled up. So, now, my argument became useless. But what ever I said is of my time.
And these reservations, women never demanded 30% reservations in education. Its all those politicians who did that. And also reservations in Jobs. Thats rediculous.
When women say that they are equal to men, they should sit with men and work as hard as men work. Right? Anybody disagree? For example, in a software development company, a team is having, say 6 people, and one is a woman, married, got a kid. There came a problem one evening around 1630, in their project. Assume no single individual is responsible for that, lets say its a collective problem. And at sharp 1800, she takes the bag and goes home, saying that "I have to cook for my baby" and come next day at 1000 instead of 0900, saying that "I had to arrange everything for my hubby and baby" and goes home at 1200 saying that "I have to feed my baby" for 2 yrs till 1400 for lunch and say "I had to sleep with my baby". How far do you accept this? If she's a real bright performer during the rest of the time(who can finish off a work of 8 hrs effort in 6 hrs of time), we can agree. But a very normal average performer. You may ask that how management is tolerating her, let me tell you Sir, our company in India is like that, never scolds any employee directly. If she's doing the job for the sake of time pass, what a big crime she's doing? Is it acceptable just because she got an "opportunity"? I don't think so. India is not that luxurious country where it can afford a job for pass-timer like this lady. Then where is equality? What equality does these women really want? Definitely not while putting efforts, but only in luxuries. Rigth?
