I know and I agree with you totally --- I dont want to quote the names but when I was having an offline casual altercation with a friend of mine who was one of the national level leaders of a political party about terrorism he just said u know what!
"The common man looks at these issues emotionally whereas a politician would think politically and thats what separares a politician from a citizen" .. how true!

The answer is obvious - Uncle Sam doesnt mind if Israel whips Palestine or Lebanon but would not like India attacking the ally Pakistan .. but then the situation might change very soon as Pakistanis are turning Anti-West gradually ... I wouldnt be surprised if, sometime in the next few years, the US actually pressurizes India to attack Pakistan ( so that they achieve their objectives while India spends its money on war!) :))
