ok...
Here the no. of mice caught will be directly proportional to the no. of cats and no. of days will be inversely proportional to no. of cats..so to start with..
1.5 cats catch 1.5 mice in 1.5 days
3 cats catch 3 mice in 1.5 days
3 cats catch 6 mice in 3 days...
hence the answer.
