I usually use remit2india and it takes a week to reach the recipient which is no good in this case.
Ananth, I don't know how you can send it by tomorrow, but can you send another Rs 1000(Radha + I) and I will pay you when I come see you?

Malak garu, let us decide how to send the money. Instead of taking different DDs, we will send a DD with the collected amount. But there should not be much delay. Just 2 to 3 days. Whatever is collected, we will send them. What do you say?

Sowmya garu, meeku ICICI or some other bank account unte cheppandi. We will transfer the money to your account so that you can immediately and directly give to MRO or hospital authorities (provided you have time).

I'm trying to talk to a couple of NGOs on this issue. If one of them can take care of this case completely then there is nothing like it. But then, since its February they may be running short on Budgets. I'll post my updates by tomorrow anyhow.
