Frenz, I came to know 4rm my Brother who iz livin in US(CA) dat there r TONz 'n' TONz of Cultural Programs(whether they may be Telugu, Hindi (or) Tamil etc...etc...) will be going on in US 4 all the Festivals of our Indian Heritage it seems...Cultural programs ante BHARATHA NAATYAM programs, KUCHIPUDI programs, inka cheppaalante HARI KATHALU, KAVI SAMMELANAALU etc...etc...annamaata... So I guess itz a verry verry gr8 'n' gud thng kada Coz we cant C those type of Cultural programs here in India now-a-days...Even in our verry own HYDERABAD... The only MINUS POINT here iz dat we need to spend sum money(May be few Dollars) 4 going to dat Programs... Chosaara mari, manam ikkada INDIA lo vundi alaanti Cultural Programs Jarupukoleka pothunnaam kada, mari US lo vunna mana TELUGU VAARU kaani INDIANs kaanivvandi ela Njoyy chesthunnaaro, malli mana SANSKRUTHI ni US ppl ki choopeduthunnaaru... Kaani nenu chaala mandini chosaanu US lo vunna NRIs ni malli mana telugu vaallani thittadam dat they go US 4 making money ani.....Itz really a bad idea which sum ppl hav in their minds.....Tell ya wat, ippudu meekevarikayina US lekapothe UK lekapothe FORIEGN VUDYOGAM opportunity vasthe vadulu kuntaara cheppandi....Kahaanili maathram cheppamante chepthaaru kada.....Nenayithe ala opporunity vasthe assal vadulukonu...Itz not dat I wanna make money 4 me (or) 4 my family, itz only dat I wanna ENHANCE My Skills 'n' wanna show my talent to THE WORLD...'n' also there iz no that gud INFRASTRUCTURE out here in India..... Know wat, I hate Mr. Nehru who iz called as CHAACHA NEHRU by our Indian Children...Y I hate him ya know, he didnt listen to the RESEARCH DONE by the the the the the the GR8 "ZENETIC ENGINEER" - ARAGOBIND KURAANA who later went to US 'n' told abt hiz research to Mr. JOHN F. KENNEDY 'n' been awarded the "NOBLE PRIZE", the most prestigious AWARD on dis Planet Earth... Even I hate Mr. Gandhi who iz called as MAHATMA by our Indians Coz if he wudnt have told uz not to fight wid the UK aka Britishers, we wud hav got di INDEPENDAnce long long long bck by our GREATEST OF ALL gr8s "SUBHAASH CHANDRA BOSE" (or) Bhagath Songh etc...etc... Inkokati cheppamantaara, ikkada mana India ila enduku THAGALADDADante bcoz of our BRUTAL politicians 'n' sum SPOILT BRATS.....Vaallu ala thagaladi vundaka pothe mana INDIA eppudo baagupadedemo mari...deeniki thodu mana THELIVI leni JANAALU... Evarayina cheppandi, okavela BRITISHERS manalni INVADE chesi vundaka pothe mana India MAroKA AFRICA laaga vundemonani naa vuddeshyam.....They BUILT THE RAILWAY STATIONS etc...etc... Im sure it wud take several years might be shathaabdaalu 4 our Indians to build those kinda thngs I guess.... Sum ppl say "missing our country. Missing family" ani, Thatz verry verry TRUE, kaani nenokati cheppana, If we wanna hav sumthng, we shud LEAVE OUT sumthngs... KUCH PAANE KELIYE KUCH KHONA PADTHA HAI HUMKO......Hai na tho..... Oka simple example cheppamantaara, mana India lo GALZ ki marriage jaruguthundi ante vaallu puttina intini vadilesu velthaaru, krotha PRAPANCHAM loki adugu pedathaaru..... No nenu idealistic anandi..You can not jsut decide Ok you want family or money? Life is not a jsut yes or No or one or zero...there is compramisation ...so enta varaku compramise avutunnamanna dani meede..badha santhosham etc. feelings. Ikkada na objective Higher studies. To achieve that I have to miss certain things. And I worry that I am missing those things.. Thataswhy I post a msg Life is dull in certain things.....

Compromise is good. But not to the point that you say "Why am I here..." and go into depression :) If you can balance things and not get too caught in something.. it is fine. But if you are denying yourself the pleasure of being here or the pleasure of living and doing it mechanically, then okasari aalochinchaali... Because you get to live your life only once. No amount of dollars you make will compensate for your happiness. Idi idealistic aa?

Itla Idealistic ga matladutaru enti..be practical...theere is always struggle...u need family and money...I came to study here. I want see the technology around...do you want me forget my family and do not think about it? give me a break... Evrey1 knows they have to compramise on certain things...and badanta aa compramisation gurche.....

Hey guys... Haven't been following the discussion, but here are my 2 cents. I have been here for 4 yrs now and from what I see, many people want the best of both the worlds. They want to stay Indian, not miss the family and also the 'dollar'. This is highly impossible.And gets frustrating too... If you feel your life seems so empty, it is high time to analyze your priorities and decide if it is money or family and happiness. What Krishna gopi said is 100% true. Well, Truth is always harsh...get over it! You said people are expressing their opinions and feelings...so do I!! Am not doin' anything different...I just expressed my opinion. I saw many msgs which essentially conveyed that they are not happy here. My msg might have made many people to have an immediate aversion on me & what I said. But if they think on it, many would abruptly accept it. My msg is...Leave this place if you find it very disgusting…there is no need to compromise coz you are the controller of your life; or if you decide to stay here, not a problem..stay here if you can't/don’t want to go back to India, stay here even when you are unsatisfied, but while you are staying..stay with a +ve attitute, stay with a wish to enjoy your stay. That's all I wanted to convey! Like someone said..”Life is like a vacation trip…make your stop simple, pleasant and enjoyable en route, before you reach your final destination”

Hi Krishna Gopi, Might be there is truth in posting.But did you observe that,people didnt ask for your advise regarding staying here or going back. They were expressing their opinions and feelings.I think people do deserve freedom to express their feelings.If you had written your opinion it wouldnt have hurt many. Praveen.
