May be right .. but what we are discussion about, in this thread, is not what the Govts wants to see. Its about whats good for the womenfolk vis a vis the rights ...
The Govt sees things only for political reasons - because it lacks will to empower and develop women completely, it is trying to pamper the women with reservations ...

This is the biggest illusion one can have, as I said .. Reservations only brought up the "GOOD FOR NOTHING" women into the forefront and they were perfect examples of failures at their studies... 99% of the successful women were those who performed well, competed with men and succeeded!
AND WELL, ALL THE TIME U WERE TALKING ONLY ABOUT THE MINISCULE PERCENTAGE OF WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN STOPPED FROM BEING PROGRESSIVE.

Only after the reservation for woman, in almost all the degree courses and PG Courses including Engineering, Medical etc. you find woman or girl students upto 20% to 30%.Also you find woman in the employment.This is because of the reservations to girls and women as the authorities have to fill up these seats only with women or girl candidate.Whether the woman candidates are economically poor or rich, the women population is coming out in various fields.
