Pawan Kalyan's last four films bombed at the box-office. Yet, his forthcoming film, Annavaram, is considered hottest project this winter. Everyone in the film industry is so confident of its success. It is really big surprise considering the fact that much bigger and 'hot' films are competing this season. The insiders in the film industry say, "Pawan ee cinema tho kodutadu, choosukondi" (Pawan will strike with this film!).
Normally trade acts upon the sentiments and the combinations. If a hero or director's previous film were a big blockbuster, their next release would be traded at astronomical prices. Annavaram does not boast such credentials but the trade is putting their horses on this film purely on the 'inside talk' that it has shaped out superbly.
Even Pawan is also taking extra care on the film's re-recording and postproduction work. And suddenly, Annavaram has become red-hot film among the releases of this season. The reason is the character that Pawan is portraying in the film is sure to strike the chord with the audiences.
The producers Megasupergood films' recent track record (Andalaramudu being the super hit) is also helping the film.
Dialogue drama
For the first time in his career, Pawan Kalyan will mouth 'bhari'(lengthy) dialogues. Writer Abburi Ravi is said to have brought 'realism' in dialogues that is aimed at the mass audiences. Normally, in mass entertainers, dialogues look absurd. But that is not the case with this film.
The film is based on Tamil hit, Tirupachchi. Although the crucial scene in the film (Tirupacchi) where hero puts the deadline before killing off the villains has already been copied in Nagarjuna starrer Mass, Annavaram has breathtaking fight sequences. And they are shot innovatively.
Audio releases on 14th
It will be launched into the market directly on December 14th through Supreme music. It releases on December 29th.
