We have Drive thru Fast Food centers where you can happily sit in the car and order the Food you need without getting out of the car (Don't know if they lately introduced such facility in India ) 595 Yeah Davy, we will be resetting it to 500 very soon.

In book stores in US, you could sit for hours and read/browse books happily. In India, they'll give you a *look*, not to mention the books arent reachable in the first place! This is not to criticize India, we all have lived that life, so dont mistake me! 600 CC - just 20 more to go to reset it to 500 first! ;-)

Posted by: Ever Green At: 8, Jun 2007 11:01:44 PM IST Buy one get one/two/three free actually started/popular in india I guess. :p Well, Point of debate again. I guess that line should be re-framed, may be? There is no such thing as 'mail-in-rebate' in India. Agreed. :) Posted by: Davy Jones; licks Ice Cream Cones At: 8, Jun 2007 11:16:14 PM IST You cannot afford to miss them then. :p ;)

/I was talking abt yesteryears. How we 'used' to record mahabharatam. The higher end TVs don require that any more./ So, currently can we record/schedule the TV programs to hard disks like TiVo or DVR in India? Like I said, if we can do this in India my point is withdrawn because I was not aware we are able to do similar stuff in India. I missed reading one post during the points reduction. Its the speed breakers that are causing me to jump! :P

In that case you don't get anything for Free in India. We do get lot of free stuff in USA, as I explained in that example :) 615

Posted by: Davy Jones; licks Ice Cream Cones At: 8, Jun 2007 10:41:13 PM IST Sure you don't want to compare US Today and India Yesterday. I was talking abt yesteryears. How we 'used' to record mahabharatam. The higher end TVs don require that any more. 620 How cud you 'jump down' from 620 to 610? Need a speed breaker? :p ;)

/The only problem was that the TV had to be switched on all the time./ We dont have to keep the TV on, thus we could also schedule multiple programs from different channels! :P 610
