So does it justify the casteism?.Religion and Casteism should not exceed the personal and family limits.

I agree with this. I have been noticing this since 20 years. Even in Bombay,as I know from earlier times the telugu associations had been fortified with people of a particular caste. I have also noticed that Telugu people mainly in these associations are bickering among them selves and I had not attended any function since long time.

I want to present a different practical view on Casteism. Casteism is in our Indian blood. If it is taken out than individual identity is lost. I agree that it is used negatively but if we think in a different way than I think that casteism should be there. There are more social organizations, helpage homes, hostels which are run by individual castes for their own sectors. Practically we cant help each and everybody and if u notice, there are poor people within every caste and atleast these bunch of people get a pie of help.

I absolutely agree with you guys. A fundamental change should come with in the people and that change should start with us. Its very nice to see few people on this list are non biased to caste. To answer Pavani gari views, I think change should start with our generation first which would take care of future generation implicitly.

It is not just in USA this should be banned. In India also the same VIRUS is showing its impact because of which lot many talented ppl r being victimised. So, if at all there is ANY CURE, it should be applied in India first, so that the foundation will be laid perfect for the future generations. And whoever leaving India will project good opinion about our culture and traditions.

And yet an another Bunch of fools formed an organization called ATA which is of same sort, formed by another caste for their welfare. TANA and ATA should be BANNED !!!!AND TEACH THIS IDIOTS A LESSON !

Ya i do agree with you guys,Sick minded and insecure people go behind caste organisations. It is so pity that the people who talk about the caste are well educated and professionals and been in US since many years, and about the Tana, "YES IT IS 100% TRUE", Tana is a organisation for a particular caste and people who attend for this meeting talk openly about the caste and the invitees too are from the same sect,Open preachings about the caste are done here.... We can do nothing about this sick minded people except PITY THEM !!!!
