You need not explore how a painting has been made in the past. You just need to know how you can make one with the current tools avaialble. You can create fantastic graphic, using a latest editor, even if you don't know how a picture was made in the past.
And you need not study entire Shakespear's works to write your own playlet. You just need to understand the CURRENT.
We appreciate the master pieces of past. And we should try to create master pieces of CURRENT.

All they do is just follow :) well anyway my point was...75% people r so dumb abt those things...thats not encouagable :)

hahhahaha U adopt once U explore..I dont see that in indians now...they didnt even explore our things or western things how can they adopt or start a new thing :)

Our ancestors have created some things, which we like and follow, by calling ourselves Traditional. But unless you create somethings NOW, what our next generation thinks about current generation. Mere followers !!!
You need to create our own IMAGE and CULTURE of TODAY and pass it to NEXT generation's traditionals. Otherwise, there is no meaning of CURRENT.
If everybody have thought that THEY NEED NOT adapt to the NEW, you wouldn't have seen even those "shastriya sangeetham, literature and intelluctual properties" now.

We need to BE OPEN to new trends and adapt to new life styles than sticking to old styles/music/culture. After all even all those traditions/cultures have been created as a new trend once upon a time.

i am basically very fond of this shastriya sangeetham . i observe only few students paying attention to this beautiful music.
