Let people love vijayawada. But delete the greatness attributed to it . Its not great in anyway . People who raised th etopic are not able to defend themselves. Seems there is nothing to discuss this further .

at the outset, the topic here is "i love my great vijayawada".. its a self opinion of some chap who puts it public...y dont v distort the topic so as to compare it with hyd n vizag... may b it avoids raising issues abt community... and lastly mr kumar vejendla.. it will b good if u mind ur language u used here on the forum...

I am also from Vijayawada.I did my education there till Intermediate.I am proud of my city in many ways
1)Kanakadurga gudi
2)Mahashivaratri celebrations
3)Yenamalakudru shivalayam
4)krishna nadi madyalo islands akkada dorike jamakayalu,mangoes and all
5)krishna nadi isakalo atalu
6)prakasham barraige
7)halls at lenin centre
8)kondapalli quilla
9)balla meeda amme bajjilu ,punugulu whats more
for all the residents and people from it is the paradise on earth.though it didnt had any major industries or the S/W boom still it is in limelight and will be in limelight forever.That is the speciality of Vijayawada.
some people are pointing caste issues but for a person to love his native place there is nothing in relation with caste,religion,creed etc.

to b frank... vijayawada is a good commercial city... its the only greatness i found abt it... other than this it swivels big time ..
1)it has one of the worst climatic conditions in andhra .its a blowing furnace.
2) a single community dominating the city(casteism)
3)very slow in development compared to vizag n hyd.

seems that people dint understand yet .
let me loosen the bolts and nuts.
the title is - i love my great vijayawada.
i do agree that everyone loves his or her own place , city , town etc.
the point here is not about loving vijayawada. I would like to know why its great. and from where this greatness (if any) come from.
