General ga many of the songs in tamil dubbed movies belong to this category. I have a good example. I dunno howmany of u heard the song..... "gandhapu gaaliki talupulu vaaluta nyaaayamaa.... dharmama... premala prasnaku..... em cheyyamanduve..." from the film Priyuralu Pilichindi(Ash, Tabu, Mammutti, Ajit....)

I like this song soooo much, cuz of the tunes. The tunes and music in this songs r extra ordinary. But why is this a chetta song? cuz, aa lyrics parama dharidramga untay. anta manchi tunes ki anta chetta lyricsa? I understand its a dubbed one. ayina sare, some how i feel it is a chetta song which i like the most.

I beg your pardon my friends, I'm not trying to prove that I'm great by criticizing the big writer, Devulapally Venkata Krishna Sastry. I should have put that "the chetta part of the good song", the lines

Since then, some how, I developed a kind of "ayishtam" on that song, and hence is the reason I posted that in the topic "nAku nachchina chetta pATa" , meaning the song which you like(may be) chetta for me. Don't you think that I may not like what are all you like? This is also one on that.

No..That is not correct..
Devulapally(DP) Wrote that song correctly,
But SPKodandapani (I think he was the music director) recorded it wrongly, when DP was not there in the rec. theatre. Once DP heard the song, he felt very bad, but due to some circumustances, they could not re-record it (I think due to unavailability of P Susheela garu).So DP said "Tarumarina aadapilla jeevitham kadaa - andukae naa pata kudaa tarumaru ayyindi" ani chematkarincharu.
This is the real story..
BTW..Durga prasad Garu...
U r the first person in my life to say that this song is "Chetta"...

well durga prasad gaaru..anduke antaaru if you take words out of context they lead to wars ani......
raghu gaaaru...this argument happened when the song was written...
mallela maasam...vennela vela
ani prayogam ceyyali.....bhasha paranga ayite.....if you follow strict semantics of language.....
kaani devulapalli gaaru...gati tappina character life (vanisree anukuntra...anyways the female character which sings the song) ki prologue kinda paatani alaa raasaru........
well....chandasa vaadulu anduku oppukoru....may be durga gaaru fall under the category
