I remind all of u that MTM is the second municipality in India, next only to Calcutta. Now see where is Calcutta and where is MTM!
The man who designed our national flag also hails from MTM! Any takers to guess the name of the person!
Who are responsible for all this!
Posted by: Dr. sri ravi kumar Jalluri At: 20, Sep 2002 0:10:14 AM IST I absolutely agree with all the previous views. Even I too feel bad about the state of the city these days. I studied in Hindu college and Noble College. I think it is waste of time and energy to think about politicians of Machilipatnam. It is the responsibility of the citizens of the city (not forgetting the role of people from the city who are now based overseas) to take part in the beautification of the city and get back its past glory.

i still remeber the Panduraga temple and mangini poodi beach, challapilli raja house etc. Many scholers came from MTM. I love to see it becoming a big city
