why people are away from spirituality which is based on the principle of love and devotion?

i hope everyone is obsessed with spirituality so that the whole world becomes a nice plce to live happily!

Ravi, the fundamental principle is that all that we have in our body, except the organs of vision,hearing,speech and movement(limbs and hands)is the spiritual part that is mind,and soul(if u believe that you have a soul within u)and all that we r talking about ,that is love and devotion are the spiritual aspects of our body system.I hope that with this atleast iam clear in my mind and it is up to u to accept or reject my stmt. so the skill and devotion are our spiritual attributes and as such we need spiritual practise to enhance our spiritual status.

joga i dont think you will ever get me at all..and infact not many will agree with you ...to do a job effectively you need a spiritual bent of mind???what sort of a statement is that...to do a job effectively you need devotion to the job and skill in it...you dont need spirituality.....if anything devotion must your spiritual potential drivin you forward

"Perfect" replace it by "Acceptable". If it is perfect why the things are changed or rather modified ? Everything changes as the time goes on so, no one or nothing is perfect. To do a task / job effectively one should have spirtual bent of mind ? How many do agree I don't know.

supposing that u r able to do ur activities more effectively and perfectly by having spiritual bent of mind due to spiritual practise ......what then?

thats the problem...i am saying dont waste precious time on spiritual practices.... instead try to incorporate it in your daily life....love ppl and be devoted to what you do that is all it takes.....that should keep your satisfied on the spiritual front

seriously dude....you got all of it totally wrong...havent you heard of maanava saevae maadhava saeva?... so as long as you love all humans and other beings...it is equivalent to loving god.. you dont have to imagine yourself as the lover and god as the beloved and all that stuff...all you have to do is to stick to the two principles of love and devotion thats it ..it all boils down to being happy and keeping other beings happy..thts what spirituality is all about...to seek inner happiness ...and what else can give us more happiness other than seeing others happy?? instead of spending time trying to get the love of the beloved(god) why dont you try to get the love of the ppl around you.....that would be enough to last for a life time .. joga buddy you seriously need to think a lot before you write...ha but i love you cuz thats part of my spirituality

love and devotion are the natural inborn qualities of all human beings and even animals with instincts too have these tendencies.whether you do sdhanaa or not if you behave like human being love and devotion which are already there inhrently automatically improve to such an extent that you love all and hate none.the resultant effect of true love is devotion and as it imprves the lover becomes beloved.If we imagin ourselves as lovers and Divine as the beloved ,a time may come if we develop that craving towards the Divine ,the Divine turns to be lover and we become the beloved making our effeot easy.

so instead of developing love and devotion you want to say that it is better to resort to spiritual practice?isnt that sort of lame??if you spent the same amount of time and effort trying to show love and devotion ...wouldnt that be better.spiritual practices can never be an alternative for these qualities.they are just misnomers...and i know of many people who have no love and devotion but are practising every other spiritual thing...so are you saying that they are asserting that they are spiritually superior?i dont think so... and another thing jogarao PRACTISE IS THE VERB AND PRACTICE IS THE NOUN..SO YUR LAST SENTENCE MUST READ ".....without practiCe".. bye
