In andhra communism is a profession. particularly in Krishna district. It is a means of acquiring power and wealth. Most communists have now become capitalists. One very very famous communist, who led the movement in karimnagar for 30 years and destroyed many families of "rich farmers" and "burgeoise" is now the owner of the biggest farm in the same district!!! The only thing I admire baout him is that atleast he publicly renounced communism after he became a capitalist.
Many well known communists of the 70's of AP today are the parents of businessman sons!!
Ofcourse their grand old leader Jyoti Basu takes the cake. His son is a very big industrialist.

If Communists are so great they would have been welcomed all over the world.If everyone is kicking their butt, that itself proves.
I spoke to many chinese people in USA and they never want to go back/never went back to their country. I didn't hear that from any Indian. If communists are so concerned about people welfare why do they destroy public property at every opportunity and contribute to the backwardness of those regions. These theories are well accepted/followed by lazy people who do not want to work and just want to share the goodies equally with other people.

The only state with lot of resources and lack in developement is WB.the so called CPM made the life of public horrible there..
poddune legisthe chalu evado okadu yerra janda pattukoni rodelmata padi anni bandh cheyatam..i have personnel exp of 18 months in that state...
anduke lot of industries got closed and moved to mumbai now ....

With the revolution in Congo Kabila who was a marxist became president of Republic of Congo in 1999 but was assasinated recently. We can wait and see if his son is going towards socialism.

hello swapna..while you are bringing out those facts plz DO REALISE THAT THOSE COUNTRIES ARE GEOGRAPHICALLY SMALL,POLITICALLY UNSTABLE AND MILITARILY WEAK COUNTRIES...(ofcourse with china - the exception..).. plz remember not many of ur own fellow students of politics and science or otherwise job (fortune) seekers will opt to go even a growing economy..like china..why..??
