| Yeh I agree there is bribery here in usa in the highfi level but not for the middleclass people.We really never had to pay any bribe here for anything.Who doubted if th eNRIs care about India?Who doesn't love one's own mother though staying in another place/country?

In one of the TV interviews Mrs. Kiran Bedi, IPS officer's personal comment is that bribe in US one cannot either imagine nor afford it.

Don't quite agree with your comments, Mr Yugandhar.
The questions that one must ask is:
1. Why do so many Indian leave their country in order to find a home abroad?
2. What is being done to keep them or bring them back to India?
The people who go to the Middle East don't go there to settle down. They are there to make money, so as to provide their families back in India with a reasonable standard of living. A vast majority of these people have had to make many sacrifices in order to get a job in these places.
Just because someone is abroad, it does not mean that they care for their families any less. I have met a number of people here in the UK who have come here on IT contracts. All of these people have either already gone back to India or will be going at the end of their contracts, simply because they feel & want to put their new learnings back into their companies. This in itself is very good for Indian development as people are able to introduce certain mechanisms that they have learnt elsewhere and use a new approach towards tackling issues.
There are also a vast number of people who have settled abroad due to various commitments - family, financial, etc. A number of these people are quite avtively involved in various social development projects in India and also are involved in helping the Indian communities abroad.
None of this is to do with insecurity - it could be that they are frustrated with various factors back home, viz. Red tapism and corruption to name a couple! They want to get on and achieve their goals in life. So how can that be a bad thing?!

Yup,very true Vidya and Pavan..NRI's hv more love for their country as they are far from it.India have lot of resources,which are not utilised properly.Thats the main reason, everyone is moving out of India to diff. countries.Hope India will be no. 1 in everything in future..
