Inter racial marriages also help to eliminate racism.
Anyways people tend to like their own culture. So, it might be difficult.
But I think we should eliminate the concepts of race and caste and think any caste is superior or inferior to the other.

A race where every one participates to win. Caste to disqualify them who want to participate in a race.

As long as there is sense of insecurity in our thinking the caste feeling persists and the day is not far off when we dont need to descriminate particular caste or race with more and more love marriages taking place and the ratio of arranged marriages coming down day after day, and year after year.

I have seen many of Indians support castism but not racism and many westerners support racism and not castism.
Inherently, both are the same.
1) Both are arbitrarily formed social constructs.
Racists think that Race has biological existence but scientifically race doesnt exist. If at all classifications are to be done there will be billions and billions of classifications. Isnt it silly to classify someone by ear size?
Well, some Indians do agree that castism was formed for a social division of labor and there are some people who believe GOD created it and you ged it at birth.
Similarly racists do think that GOD created them "white" because they are superior.
2) Both are created to Subjugate the weaker sections by classifications which suit them.
And for people think social classification is necessary for division of labour. it isnt.
Division of labour is necessary condition for production but social division of labour(as in India) isnt /wasnt a necessary condition for production.
3) Stereo typing the castes is common in India as is stereo typing the races.
Like Brahmins are double tongued, kammas,reddy's are arrogant, Sc,Sts are uncivilizzed, vysyas are stingy (I heard all these in the same discussion board)
Similarly, Racists say Jews lack integrity, blacks commit crime, arabs are a bunch of fool lacking culture, Indians are uncivilized.
4) People marry within same castes and people marry within same race to keep their race pure.
5) As, the lower castes were not allowed into temples, the blacks or Indians or non-whites were not allowed into certain areas.
as someone said in SA "Dogs and blacks not allowed". Similarly for a long time, until recently the lower castes were not allowed.
6) one more thing which isnt relavant to the caste system but worth mentioning is. I heard many Hindu's saying "Muslims should be sent out of this country" Well, they have been staying in this country for 700 yrs.
Similarly racists say "all non-white immigrants should be sent out of europe" though they are living from 200 yrs or 300 yrs.
Isnt it silly? We support one system and We dont support the other when both of them need to be uprooted from a civlized society
