Posted by: Durga Prasad At: 22, Jan 2004 1:52:24 PM IST Now there is a movement launched by a committee of devotees in chilukuru in hyderabad appealing the temple administration to stop collecting money for various sevas and exhorting devotees too not to offer any money to such temples. This movement is getting positive response and already some temples have initiated to drop collection of money to some sevas. The movement is spreading to other parts of the state and country too.

problem is it has become a way of earning and
(easy money)non can stop it.

It's no different from Kerala in view of temple management (Devadaaya Shakha).

how a common man can have a dharsan in today's commercialised temples. In almost all temples there are no free dharshan when there are "sambaralu" or "utsavas".
So in my opinion it is waste to go temples because there is no spirituality and with the "money we are spending for puja", we can serve food for one person (oka puta bhojanam pettagalam)".
plz comment
