English is being spiced up with sprinkling of some more words from Hindi. In the latest edition of the Oxford English Dictionary, there is already a host of Hindi words, including “angrez” (an English person) and “badmash” (naughty) while many more are being entered into the Collins Bank of English, which screens words for entry.
The Hindi words likely to find a place in the English dictionary are: “achha” (ok, or is that so?), “aloo” (potato), “arre” (used to express surprise), “chuddi” (underwear), “desi” (indigenous), “filmi” (related to Bollywood), “very filmi” (drama queen), “gora” (white person), “jungli” (uncultured) and “yaar” (friendly form of address) and “chi-chi” (shameful).

Posted by: Rajesh At: 12, Mar 2004 1:40:50 AM IST Whenever we try to download something or use yahoo messenger to connect to or from internet, we get an alert from firewall saying that such an such a site/ip is trying to access your computer. Don't you ?
If you are ok with it then you can add it into your safe list so that you never get prompted again for the same site.
Posted by: Mr Truth At: 10, Mar 2004 8:56:15 PM IST /*Hm..it does not mean that we are putting a restriction. Generally, almost everyone keeps..firewall , virus scan on their computers. forget about the TP. Many people keep these things on their computers to avoid from unnecessary troubles. :) */
I do too. Thing is whenever you download something or whenever you use new program to connect to internet, how many times do you add it into your safe list ?
/* Is that prevents you from one using multiple IDs..? What I am saying is , a person in one ID talks so nicely and in other ID talks rubbish. How your suggestion that having dates on profiles keeps away those people ? I didn't get you. :( */
If a person creates a new id which looks "almost similar" to yours, you can know atleast when it is created and why he/she is acting that way.
/* Please keep in mind that , I am not forcing anyone here with my postings here to agree that my advise is correct. I am just sharing my views and hearing others voice. :) What I feel is, there won't be any better solution other than this. ***/
Neither do I.

I believe Firewall is not all that strong. Also, you are putting a restriction on all new members joining this site to have a Firewall. Don't we ?
I think atleast for now the admin can impose the simplest thing which is to have a date on which that id is created in his/her profile.
