If only Tendulkar had been alerted, he would have scored the required six runs in one over itself. To say it was in the interest of the team makes no sense, for the wicket was not doing much. And anyways, the Indian bowlers didnot get any wicket in the 10+ overs they bowled. In a Test played at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, against Zimbabwe in Nov 2000, Ganguly had waited till Dravid finished his double century before he declared. Here, it was Dravid's time to wait.
