HS, you get a lot of info including helpline numbers in your state at cancer.org and smokefree.gov.
Are you planning to quit? :))

Posted by: Mr. Raj Raj At: 17, Apr 2004 0:50:59 AM IST Spider man, American Cancer Society has free telephonic and personal counselling available which is quite effective. They are with you till you quit it for good. It works like this. The counsellor and you will together discuss about the motivation for your decision to quit, a target date of quitting and they work with you before and after the date to see that it is working. The amount of data that they give is daunting and if yo are really listening there are fair chances of your quitting. But bottomline is your confidence level. If you don't want to nobody can make you quit. Send a message to me if you like to know more (contact numbers etc).
Good luck.
