General Forum: Govt. and Politics | Who will come to power in our state? | |
| Now-a-days the voters are very clever. They conceal truth and try to please others when questioned by telling the opposite. Like the last Assembly polls in 4 states, the exit poll surveys will follow the suit this time too.

So MLA seats are only to show the power of peoples ambition.even if TDP form's the Govt also if the central Govt wishes for the new state no one can stop it. I hope you got the point.may be you know about JMM(Shibu Soran).. TRS is following the path of JMM.comming to the point of Congg geting 147..cong has contested only for 234 or so..do you think TDP is so weak in the our state that it get only 80 seats no way it is possible..it is likely expected that TDP will get 120-130 seats..and in some cases it may even form the govt with 160 seats..so Congg geting 147+ is likely imaginary.
@NTvoDU,I totally agree with you that TRS will support TDP to form the GOVT,for a good deal is stuck..Is separate Telangana,a good deal..I hope TDP should try this.

:""" Naidu: I’ll win ‘exact poll’ """ :
Hyderabad/New Delhi, April 27: Caretaker Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday said he would go by the results of the “exact” polls and not exit polls. He conceded to his BJP ally, however, that it would be a “close fight.”
A day after almost all exit polls predicted his exit, Naidu said some surveys had “intentionally” given misleading figures, while others did not adopt scientific methodology.
Naidu himself refused to play psephologist. “Only those who lose will talk about numbers,” he said, forgetting his promise about predicting the TD’s tally immediately after the polls.
Naidu then took off on the Election Commission. He accused the EC of pressuring on the State to delete names and keep voters were kept at a certain percentage. “Opposition complaint chesaka that K J Rao (EC special observer) pichchiga behave chesadu. Violent gaa react ayyadu,” (Following complaints from Opposition, the special official reacted madly and violently),” he said.
The administration, following the EC’s hasty reaction, became panicky and deleted names randomly and indiscriminately. “The common man was deprived of his constitutional right.” he said.
Earlier, Naidu assured Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani over phone that he would retain power in the State. In New Delhi, BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu said he spoke to the TD chief who told him that he would win but it would be a close fight.
Women support
He said there was an undercurrent of support from among women and youth. He refuted the Opposition’s claim that State staff employees and farmers had worked against the TD. “Officials who are dishonest and feel overburdened with the tasks I gave them must have voted against us,” he said. Asked about his partymen fixing May 13 for the swearing-in, Naidu said he would invite the media in advance.
Debate on poll timing
Naidu called for a debate on the timing of elections and role of the governments when the election code was in vogue. Referring to a caretaker government ruling the State for more than six months, he said because of EC guidelines he could not attend to relief and emergency tasks. Asked whether there should be Governor’s rule, he said the debate should incorporate all the issues.

Every body only guessing on anti incummbancy factor will work and chandrababu will be defeated. But when compares to TRS & Congress leaders, chnadra babu is best.
