No religion preaches hatred nor is any religion above the other.
If we look at the history, people from all religions had blood on their hands.
Buddhism one of the mildest religions (look at Japan in the late 1800s and first half of the 20th century) was violent at some point of time.
I dont need to tell you about Christians.. how much violent they were and how many people they killed in the history. They shed blood on almost all over the world.

Yet...the mind is laboratory for evil designs! If Christianity emphasizes on heart (Even though Bible talks about the 'soul'), Islam emphasizes on mind (It indulges in prolonged indoctrination of Quranic hymns), it's the Upanishads that emphasize on both the heart, mind and 'The' soul. Hence, hinduism, has everything to offer to the world, as it is the oldest of all the existing religions. Only two religions that are parallel to the HInduism, one is the religion started by Zorastor and another one is Confucious. But oldest must be the Rig Veda, even Upanishads. Upanishads scientifically developed the art of meditation to control the mind by means of meditation. The west took from India about the Meditation. Even Roland Reagon practiced it. But....but....but...according to Shankaryacharya...

So the condition is important:
1. Under hot condition it is a water vapour
(Steam)
2. At NTP it is liquid
3. Cold condition it's ice.
It's not because every one wears the so called hat but it's due to as every one thinks I am the true religion but not the others.
Most of the religions encourage others to join them to bring under common roof.
Unfortunately our sitauation is diffrent we segragate, diffrentiate and separate ourselves before someone does.
